Like the most beautiful flower of summer, the crystal clear voice of singer Loreta Bartkevičiūtė shall fill the vaulted heights of St. Catherine’s Church, accompanied by a subtle string quartet.
L. Bartkevičiūtė is one of those singers who involves more than just her voice. Her body and glance are also to be watched, as in every piece she presents a distinct personality, in whose complex world of emotions we see ourselves, our desires, dreams and experiences.
This concert programme gives us a combination of vocal and instrumental music masterpieces that are rarely heard in concert halls. And the poetic title of the programme reveals that a romantic, dreamy summer evening is to be had.
