ANDRZEJ CHOROSINSKI - was born 1949 in Warsaw. He began his organstudies in the Karol Szymanowski State Music School in Warsaw, finished in 1967 with Diploma of Distingtion. He coninuated his music eduction at the Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music under Professor Feliks Raczkowski - organ and Professor Tadeusz Paciorkiewicz composition. He graduated with distiction in organ in 1972 and in composition in 1974.
In 1972 he took part in an organ master class led by Floor Peeters in Belgium, and the same year, he won a special prize in Kiel Organ Competition /Germany/ .
Andrzej Chorosinski has perfomed throughout almost all european countries, Israel, USA, Canada, South Korea and Japan, giving concerts in venues such as ; National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw, Kocerthuset Stockolm, De Dooolen Hall Roterdam, Cathedrals in : Cologne, Oslo, St Catrins Ontario - Canada, Notre Dame - Paris, Coventry, Aarhus , St Patric New York, also Kings College Chappel in Cambridge, Tchaikowsky Hall in Moscow, Philharmonic in St.Petersburg, Pope Paul VI Great Hall at the Vatican , Auditorium of Mormons University in Jerusalem, Great Auditorium of Keymung University in Dae Gu /South Korea/ .
He has made radio and televison broadcasts in Poland, and abroad and made over 20 LP's and CD's recordings for Polskie Nagrania, Veriton, EMI - Electrola,
Dabringhaus & Grimm, Dux, Musicon, and Megavox.
Andrzej Chorosinski created several organ trasrciptions of symphonic music of Vivadi, Rimskij-Khorskhoff, Smetana, Mussorgsky, and Ducas.
Pedagogical work constitutes a remarkable component in Andrzej Chorosinski ‘s overal carer.
He received the tiltle of Professor of Musical Arts in 1992, and since then, he has been theaching organ classes in this capacity at Warsaw and Wroclaw Academies of Music . Between 1987 and 1993, he was the Head Office Dean and later, between 1987 and 1993, he was the Head Ofiice Dean -Rector of Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Musicin Warsaw. In the same period , he was a member of the Board of the Accociation of Rectors of the European Conservatoriums, Accademies and Universities of Music.
He was a member of the Jury at numerous organ competitions in France, Germany,Lithuania and Poland.
Since 1999, Andrzej Chorosinski has been the Head of the Institute of organ and Harpsichord at Warsaw Accademy of Music and from 1997 to 2002, he combining these duties with whose of the Artistic Director of the Pholharmonic of Silesia in Jelenia Gora.
Professor Chorosinski was a co-iniciatior and the Artistic Director of seven International Festivals of Organ and Chamber Music performed on historical organs in various Polish cities.
Throughouth all these years of musical and accademic carear, Andrzej Chorosinski has been a consultant nad designer of numerous progects in the fiels of organ building in Poland , Germany, Canada and Japan.
